About Bon Infant

Over the last year, I know I have spent and wasted more money on baby related products, toys, necessities, etc. than should be allowed. Some things worked, some were a major bust. Bon Infant was born out of the joy of finding that great toy or gadget and the frustration of the pile of stuff that is relegated to garage sale status with mild to no wear. Our commitment to you is to give you information on what is hot and new coming out, what we have purchased and how well it worked (5 star rating scale) and what we would recommend for our daughter based on those experiences.

Our family also has a bend toward what we think are “hip, cool or well designed” products. I am a designer and my wife is a photographer on the side. We love to see good design and great aesthetics in our life. We want our child to be exposed to the same. At the same time, we have a health nostalgia for our childhood and like to infuse a little good old fashioned humor in our lives as well.

It is good to note the personality of our loved one. Our daughter is what many would call a “busy” child. She is energetic, strong-willed, independent and yet extremely affectionate. She does things on her time, when she is ready. We are diligently trying to keep her stimulated and growing while being responsible parents for her upbringing. Not all our recommendations will be right for your child but we wanted you to know her disposition so you can extrapolate what you think is best for your kiddo.

Where did the name come from?
bon vi·vant (bôɴ’ vē-väɴ’)
