Without a doubt, one of the biggest lifesavers you’ll find…Dr. Brown’s Bottles. We tried Playtex, Avent, and a host of others until we got this starter kit as a gift from a friend. This is a must have! I don’t know all the science behind this and I have put that in the individual post when you click more but all you need to know is that your baby will swallow less air which cuts down on spit ups, which means you feed your baby less (don’t have to re-feed after they spit up everything) and your schedule stays much more predictable. No, it’s not a tissue box.:
Check this out. It’s a disposable potty. It’s basically a small cardboard box with a hole in the top and a hygenic liner inside. It’s primitive, but it will do the trick in a pinch. As I see it, there’s no reason not to keep one or two in the trunk of the car. The best part is that a large portion of the company’s proceeds goes towards promoting the early detection of breast cancer. They are affiliated with monthlybreastexam.org, though I can’t find any mention of the potty on their site. Hmmm.
